I believe that now all the shows I watch through the week have returned (I'm still waiting on Cold Case and Amazing Race, I think). But first my thoughts on Thursday night:

Flash Forward had a good beginning: visually captivating in the beginning and it has a cool concept; all I hope is that the characters come through soon and the show doesn't rely too much on the whole 'super conspiracy' thing. Right now I'm most interested in the AA dude with the missing daughter and the suicidal doctor and the female FBI agent. John Cho intrigues me, but that's mostly because it's John Cho and not so much his character. I'm saving any true declarations until four to six episodes.

This show has a chance to play with the fate vs free will idea and I hope the writers are up to the task. In one of the articles, the creators of this show was saying how FF is more like a movie with its set up, and that's cool, but the difference between the movie and the television series is that you only have to show up once for a movie; a television show requires more of a commitment.

I will be turning in next week though; I don't have anything else to watch on Thursdays at 8pm.

Fringe was kind of weak last night for me. I still enjoy the show though I'm beginning to suspect the mythology of the show will just lead me to WTF. Though the idea of alternate earth attacking (headed by Peter's actual father?) would be fun.

I don't think I mesh well with two hour premieres of Grey's Anatomy. By the second hour I was laughing at the dramatic speeches when I should have been touched--that is no fault of Justin Chambers who has become one of my favorite parts of the show. I don't really care for the Chief, I think I liked him more when he wasn't so emotionally involved in crap. Derek just kind of annoys me. Eric Dane is super attractive and from an appearance on Charmed, I can say he truly got better with age.

The whole merger thing doesn't really scare me because I'm certain that most of the main cast isn't going anywhere for long. From 'Real Life', I already know that Pompeo has to be gone for a while and Dempsey is getting his own storylines (ugh, only if Bailey is keeping him in check; he goes to douche land rather easy to me)and Katherine Heigl is going to be gone for a while too.

I just need to see the beginning of Supernatural for some half naked JP and that's all I need to see. Also, the scenes with Sam and Satan because they sounded kind of hot. Yes, I am that person: the apocalypse thing is only slightly interesting but if there was more naked times, I'd definitely be watching more ;) I'm just following meta for the show because it interests me. This does seem to be wrapping up to be the last season, which sounds like a good idea. Where would you go after the apocalypse? (Heroes, take note to ending shows in a timely fashion!)

But the highlight of my Thursday night was definitely Community which is ridiculously hilarious with heart and I was laughing so much--especially the end with the rap. Joel McHale and Chevy Chase are perfect in their roles and the supporting cast get a chance to shine. The Spanish teacher was so funny (His knowledge will kick you in the face!). I'm swiftly leaning towards catching this on Thursday nights when Fringe isn't that great; both are on hulu, so it's all good.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia played Nightman again and I still laughed so hard at that. Mac with cat eyes and ninja moves will never not be funny to me.
