Bunch of Nothing

I had a good time on AIM last night, you know chatficcing and being ridiculous on the internet.
I got hooked on The Cobra live webcast last night; I was on for a very long time. This only confirms that Gabe Saporta is full of awesome things and Alex Suareasy needs to drink wine and rap forever!
The last post from We're So Blogging has convinced me of one thing: Need more beach/surfing AU STAT \o/
So Ryan could be like this travel dude who posts smug posts about how he's languishing in sunny weather, while lesser folk shiver and are forced to frolic with Old Man Weather. The story could follow his exploits; that would be fun.
The main point is that there needs to be more beach/surfing AUs.
(I've been on an Entourage fest lately. I've just been reading epic Eric/Vince stories and now I want Entourage/Bandom AU. I want it bad!)
Thinking about it:

I have given this some thought before; and while I would love the Ryan/Spencer dynamic put in the Eric/Vince role, the character would have to be changed because I see Brendon more as a Vince person than Ryan. But then again, Brendon would be a hilarious Turtle. IDK.
Going with Spencer as the Eric role and Ryan as the star/Vince. (What, it fits :) Pete would be a hilarious Ari, and he could be married to his wife, and he could run around in tight pants, yelling in his phone. Jon could be Drama; he had a brief bit of success years ago and let Ryan come up and crash in his condo. Now, he's trying to get more work and he cooks for the guys and dish out advice. Brendon could be Turtle. Singer or Cash could be Lloyd.
FOB
Pete could be the star and Patrick his best friend; and Patrick is all ultra competent (you know, I think it may be a ginger thing; because Eric is way competent too). Joe could be TURTLE! YES! Andy could be Drama or IDK, Dirty.
Let's make Gabe as Ari and Nate as Lloyd! Gabe could totally be married to Vicky-t.
MCR
It feels weird to think of MCR in Hollywood....IDK. But if it happened, then Gerard could be Drama, the older brother who made it and loves his younger brother dearly. Gerard had a big hit with some Sundance indie, but it falls apart after he starts developing some bad habits. Mikey could be the younger brother making it, obviously he would be different from Vince. If Mikey is Vince, then who would be Eric?
I think the MCR would be a very different AU; probably the most divergent from the Entourage feel. I have a much better MCR AU fantasy that takes place with the DMZ comic.

With Panic, I feel that the Ryan-Spencer dynamic is perfect for the Eric-Vince relationship; but I see Brendon more readily compatible with the Vince character... But Ryan would just have to be a different movie star, because the main character can be jiggled a little bit.
What is your Entourage AU like? Who are the main characters?
Don't feel bad about six months, I have stuff just staring at me on google docs that's been there longer than that.
The MCR one would be the hardest, it would mostly be a fic inspired by Entourage, because a ton of things would have to be modified to keep them in character. I could see Brian as Ari, that would be a different thing. I guess Bob or Ray would be the most obvious choice of Eric. My mind just kind of swirls with the MCR adaptation.
