I missed FNMTV again!!! Seriously, usually I can't get away from MTV reruns but now that they have live Panic performance they want to be all stealth ninjas--don't they know that I have a timely requirement to see live!Panic?

Now with the good news!!! Guess who gets to rec fics on Sunday for bandom_recs  ?
Me!!! Reccing fic is one of my favorite things to do and I adore that community so yeah 'THERE WILL BE FIC RECS'.

Guys I am totally doing a happy dance (in my head). There was a little flail and deranged grinning when I got the e-mail. Also I promise not to speak in GIANT font like that very often. I am just quite excited.

I have only seen a link for the performance on Youtube for Gin and Juice and That Green Gentleman but I have not seen it available for download yet :(

Oh man, I can always use more panic videos on my ipod. I'm itching to get home to my real computer so I can try and download all the videos from the begining of this (http://community.livejournal.com/patd/2417342.html) post. Just six more days... *sigh*

It seems I have to miss it again because I needed to watch this documentary. I know MTV will show it again, so I am not ultra concerned but I do want to catch the Panic performance and the discussion of 'return of the rosevest' I really like seeing Pete and Ryan interact. I figure the interview with Pete + Snoop would be funny.
I want to watch the show, but I am not a big fan of some music videos/artists so part of it will have to be on mute.

I am crazy excited for Sunday recs. I am trying to think of themed lists right now :)

Lol. I have to rely on other people telling me what happens on the show or find downloady links to see them. I've been watching most of it on youtube. They are there! yay!

And what kind of themed lists are you gonna do? Yes, I really am nosey.

See this is the part where I confess to writing out possible Themed lists like months ago in some fever of anticipation :) I just know that I want to cover multiple bands and I want to show some love to some rare pairs. Though there will be Panic and there will most definitely be Jon/Spencer. I don't think I could feel complete without reccing some. The idea of the Jon/Spencer Rec List of Biblical Proportions sort of makes me drool.

I am going to hunt down the clip of TGG on Youtube or something. The Gin and Juice thing intrigues me but I don't know if I can stomach it. I guess my love for Panic would have to overwhelm my pseudo-contempt for Snoop Dogg. Like, I get it that FNMTV is on MTV and they need to show various videos; but Snoop? Really? Gin and Juice? I have a cover of it and it's sort of funny because they talk about smoking up a little bit, but I guess I just need to listen to Panic jam with Snoop Dogg before I get all weird about it.

Have you watched the Gin and Juice vid? How was it?

Jon/Spencer are always the missing gap in a rec list. And I think that I would have to threaten you with something... I'm not sure what... if you didn't have at least one Jon/Spencer fic.
But ooohhhh! rare pairs! I love them... even if it does occassionally screw up my OTP. But still... I love seeing how they work.

And yeah.. I've seenm the Gin andJuice clep. Not something I would normally listen too... but it still sounded alright. I think I just like the fact that it was Panic more than anything. They sound so more mature... lol.
