Date: 2010-05-01 02:32 am (UTC)and I really like that you linked to a post about the cloth pads(because after last night's link about the cups I was wondering about the cloth pads that kept being mentioned about here and there in the comments to that post)
I skipped the music post because I'm borrowing my sister's computer and it would be too tempting to even peek
I might have to peek at the feminist50 link to see if anyone's link/reced anything cool and awesome

Date: 2010-05-01 02:43 am (UTC)The cloth pads were something I wanted to know more about too and then I found that post. I'm actually more open to cloth pads than the cup but I'll admit this is my first time reading so much on alternative means of dealing with menstruation.
I bookmarked the book post too for future references for when I'm looking for books.

Date: 2010-05-01 03:04 am (UTC)I second that. I'd prolly be way more open to cloth pads actually(and if I can scrape up some money I might try to invest in some.)
also I really dig the golden girls icon you're rocking

Date: 2010-05-01 03:14 am (UTC)Golden Girls is a complete classic. I used to watch it when I six and I still catch the reruns when they come on.

Date: 2010-05-01 04:38 am (UTC)I used to watch it and Mash, with my grandmother, when I was little...was always entertaining.
Also I have to say I've been A member of glee_fans for acouple of weeks and dude I noticed your name for posting fanish fridays...(hopes I don't seem like a creeper)....nothing really else important on that front besides DUDE!:D

Date: 2010-05-01 06:33 pm (UTC)Dude! I'm like a master creeper. I swear I was lurking in bandom for near a year before I even made a journal. Yay to glee-fans, it's a fun comm. Usually I make real posts for fannish friday, I promise.

Date: 2010-05-02 02:08 am (UTC)Wow.. I made a journal back in 2004(though I rarely if ever commented on anything fannish*fanfction wise*)
I usually lurk in fandoms...but I really want to have friends in fandom instead of just lurk existing*I've done that for far too long*... but it's hard because most people seem to be tight knit with the people they already know and I become afeared when trying to approach said groups of awesome fannish people*
It really does seem like a fun comm(maybe I'll start commenting instead of just standing in the back of the room being creepy)...:D:D:D

Date: 2010-05-02 02:32 am (UTC)On DW, I have more of a range of fannish people, even if we don't share many fandoms, but I like my DW list; it is awesome.

Date: 2010-05-02 05:28 am (UTC)My DW flist is just as mishmashy and prolly just as short.
and I'm sure it's not even near base point but your icon there makes me think about ghost stories and movies*doesn't help that I just got finished watching a horror film with my dad*

Date: 2010-05-02 10:44 am (UTC)What horror film were you watching?

Date: 2010-05-02 03:57 pm (UTC)Dog Soliders*so not ghostly, but still had the horror film saturation look going*
