Title: Melodies for the Deaf
Pairing: Gabe/Patrick
Rating: PG--though I'm never quite sure about ratings
Summary: Gabe has a plan.
Word Count: ~630
A/N: This is the other thing I wrote for super_bandom week 4. I figured since I mentioned it in another post, I may as well post it for those who aren't a member of super_bandom could look at it if they wanted. [livejournal.com profile] do_come_in  was awesome and looked over this for me :)
Disclaimer: So much fiction.

Gabe/Patrick- Gabe gets Patrick drunk, and he wakes up in The Basement.

'Pstumpsizzle! Why aren't you showing your white hot moves' Gabe exclaims as he attempts to pull Patrick on the floor. He makes sure to mind the hat because his goal is not to enrage, but to entice. 'I came here to make you dance tonight.'

'I don't dance,' Patrick insists.

While Gabe would usually push the matter, he knows when a battle is futile, despite what others may think of him. But he does note that Patrick's gaze hasn't shifted from him yet and Gabe counts that as an early victory. See,
they pretty much had vocal sex during the end of My Moves are White; and he hasn't been ignorant of the slight flickers of interest Patrick sends him in the studio. Gabe knows that the music is fueling 60% of that interest, but he's never been one to neglect an offer--whether it be subconscious or not.

Besides, he's waited. He's stilled his hands until the album was done, because as The Cobra put it, don't let the ephemeral interrupt the eternal or as Travis said, 'If you fuck with Patrick, he'll fuck with this album. Not to mention Pete.' But now the album was done and Patrick was almost out of his orbit and back to the 'norm' and Gabe never let an opportunity slip through his hands.

So he snaps his fingers and hands Patrick his drink with a flourish. 'Have a Guilty Pleasure, I promise it'll be good to you,' he purrs.

Patrick only takes a sip and arches a brow at him. 'It's kind of strong, don't you think?'

He leans a little more in Patrick's space, but not too close, the first step has to be Patrick's. It'll be better that way. Patrick downs the rest of the drink, and Gabe tries not to stare too hard at Patrick's throat because he's wanted to get Patrick against a wall and see if he could Patrick felt as glorious as he sounded.  He may get a little distracted because he's suddenly aware of Patrick being less than an inch from him.

'So,' Gabe says,' is it good for you?'

'I'm still waiting for the rest,' Patrick says. His eyes look a little brighter than normal but he doesn't look completely wasted.

The last thing Gabe wants is a suspect picture of them splattered across the internet, so he slides an arm around Patrick and whispers into his ear, 'So have you ever wondered about my basement?'

Maybe he should have consumed less liquid courage because the last thing he remembers is sliding down Patrick's body, resting his hands on his waist and breathing, 'You can hate me after' as he undid Patrick's pants.

When Gabe wakes up the next morning, his mouth is dry and tastes like he's been licking ass all night, which is a possibility. He takes a moment to relish the hazy memory of sliding down Patrick and forcing sounds out of him that has only been in his fantasies for so long. He's not exactly surprised that Patrick isn't there, last night wasn't the precursor to anything but shared heated glances and fond smiles. He's fine with that.

He rolls out of bed and stops by the mirror. Bite marks litter his body and his arms feel sore after being restrained for part of the night. He executes a little victory spin and notices some writing on his back. To actually read the message requires a level of flexibility he usually reserves for partnered activities, but after he twists his body enough, he reads:
I'm down if you don't expect any more from me--Patrick

Yeah, he's fine with that.
