Modern Adaptation of Camelot?

Modern retellings are something I enjoy. I like seeing how much a character can be changed while still keeping their essence and when the parallels aren't too blindingly obvious. Camelot has been redone a lot and I'd rather people picked other sources than Le Morte d'Arthur but I would give this a chance if I had Starz! I would hope it was of a better writing quality than Spartacus, another show that I enjoy but not for its narrative power.

Kings was a good stab at modern retelling, though I wish it were on a different show or the writers hadn't shied away from really telling the story.

Tonight I'm watching Chuck and Greek, two shows that I don't talk about often nor am I insanely fannish about but do enjoy greatly. One day I'll post about all the TV I watch and why I adore them. But that day is not today.

Blindness by Metric

Choosing my favorite song was something extremely difficult to do; I don't just have one favorite song and when I went through my Top 75 via Itunes I was stuck in a game of 'this one, no this one!' until I came to an end. So Blindness is my favorite song right now at this moment: I'm playing it often, it has lyrics that make me pause and rewind and want to engrave on my headstone (if I were to have one of those), and it picks up a bit so I can dance around in my poorly lit room too.

After every ten songs, I'm going to post a zip file if anyone wants to do a bulk download. I'm using box.net so the files shouldn't go anywhere unless I delete them

There's this Three Weeks for Dreamwidth thing that's going around and I'm intrigued. I've thought about this and my plan is to really focus on posting to comms I'm in and being more active. Commenting more, that kind of thing. I have a ton of things I've been meaning to post (like mixes and rec lists).
