I watched Telephone a while ago too and I loved it. Bad Romance is hard to top, but this was fun and Gaga and made me want to see Gaga/Beyonce-slash so hard. (So did Videophone, but to slightly lesser extent.)
I thought about the big continuous story too, so I hope you think about it later! Trying to make one big story our of somebody's music videos was something I liked to do as a kid, and Gaga is pretty much the first artist in ages who made me want to start doing that again.
You've probably tried this already, but both the old Yuletide-archive and last year's archive had some music video-based stories. Sadly I don't think I've seen stories like that anywhere else, though. Which is a pity because stories like that are really, really fun.
