Zombies have never been a great lure for me either; yes, I enjoyed 28 Days Later but I've never been that aware of zombie lore. If you think you'll like seeing a global reaction to a pandemic, but one that questions long held beliefs on mortality. And the different cultures were treated with respect (well as far as I could tell) and there were different ways of survival.
It took me forever to find in my library but I definitely plan to buy this one.
