So I know if Matt Weiner knew my burgeoning desire for wacky boarding school au (you know I Have to keep it classy) with Don and Lane as awkward buddies who only start ~bonding after Don is publicly disgraced after Betty dumps him for student body president of the rival school, Henry.
They go on man dates together and have awkward morning afters.
I'll admit to wanting shenanigans with Joan, Peggy, and Betty at their boarding school, too.
Now on to the actual show:
At this point, I think Mad Men has all the fans it's going to get and I agree with Weiner's plan to have an endpoint. MM is a slow show and it rewards those who have been there from the beginning; but I do get why some people don't like it.
I like this show, last week's episode was a high point for me and this week's settled into a steady pace. Lane moved up a bit as one of my favorites, he was hilarious at the club 'We are not homosexuals, we're DIVORCED'. I always like to see Joan even if her storyline depresses me a bit.
Maybe I'll have more to say later.
