The Pen is (metaphorically) Mightier than the Sword

Over a week ago LJ had the Writer Block question that I desperately wanted to answer.

The question:
What song lyrics would you love to have written, and why?

My answer:

My insides are copper, I'd kill to make them gold. -- FOB
I read these lyrics before I even heard the song. For me, this line is about just not feeling good enough and being desperate for better. I have felt like that.
Sometimes we take chances, sometimes we take pills. -- FOB
I just love this line. Pete Wentz!!!!
I want your lungs to stop working without me. -- Tegan and Sara
Crazy desperate longing. This may be one of my favorite T&S lines.
I am not afraid to keep on living. -- MCR
Gerard Way saves lives...that is all. I love the sentiment of this line. I just love this entire song.
Paint it black and take it back. -- MCR
Gerard Way. I lack the words. Just know they are in CAPS.
Diamonds do appear to be just like broken glass to me. -- PATD
Sometimes great things lose their luster. Northern Downpour is one of my favorite songs.
We were one cell in the sea in the beginning. -- A Fine Frenzy
We all used to be the same. I love A Fine Frenzy.
I need you so much closer -- Death Cab for Cutie
The line is simple...but it is so gorgeous. Just the amount of want contained in that line.
The best part of believe is the lie -- FOB
I love wordplay. (You can't spell awesome without 'me'!)

These are lyrics that reside in my head. I am interested in some of your guys favorite lyrics. So feel free to post some in the comments, or you could make an awesome post featuring lyrics :)
This is not a real meme...but it could be :)
