extended shows pull my emotions

Damn you Sons of Anarchy

Why you gotta go and make me cry like that?
This week of television has really spoiled me so far, first Mad Men is unbelievably awesome and now this. What's next? Glee? Community?

Now that I've SEEN the season finale for Mad Men I can comment and say OMG sooooooo good. My only worry is what about Kinsey (who I adore for completely personal reasons as well as character reasons)? I need to find out if Mike's contracted for next year but have not done so yet.

We haven't watched Sons of Anarchy yet, but we have season 1 waiting for us. I've heard such amazing things, so I'm really looking forward to it. Plus, it has Charlie Hunnam, so how could it fail? Hooligans showed me just how brilliant he can be.

I have an in for finding things out, at least where Mike is concerned. I will try to see what I can get. And if Mike gets an offer to take him elsewhere, I would be pleased with that too, and have to watch THAT as well. I admit, I just want to see him working and doing well!

I'm going to remind myself to be patient with SOA when I start watching it, and see what happens. Everyone talks about it so much, I figure I'd better just give it a solid chance.

Oh, and the MM finale? We were chortling, and we were cheering, and my husband is still quoting "Oh yes, very good. Happy Christmas. *click*" as of last night.

I didn't like him much throughout the season, but I really started to like him in the finale. Good solid writing and acting to make me do that, I think.
