Exactly. And everyone hits that break at a different point, and some shows catch people differently (I watch FlashForward and my husband does not, although he was more interested in it before it aired than I was).
I'm glad we dropped a few things last year, because otherwise our viewing schedule would be even more out of control than it already is. At least the staggered schedule of things coming back is helping us not be completely snowed under. Someday I should do a rundown in my journal of what we're actively DVRing/watching now, what we hunt down after the fact, and what's in line for when it comes back (things like Eureka or Burn Notice, or things like Chuck which are coming back mid-season). It's actually kind of a funny list when taken in combination.
